Specialist Behaviour Support

Evidence-based assessment and intervention to safely manage behaviours of concern and improve quality of life.

Evidence-Based Intervention

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is a highly specialized, evidence-based framework designed to understand the underlying drivers of complex behaviours of concern. At Komplete Disability, our PBS practitioners conduct comprehensive functional assessments to identify why a behaviour is occurring.

We then develop tailored, proactive strategies that focus on skill-building, environmental modifications, and systemic support, aiming to substantially reduce the frequency and severity of challenging behaviours while enhancing the individual's overall quality of life.

Restrictive Practice Standard

Our core clinical objective is the systematic reduction and eventual elimination of restrictive practices. Any regulated restrictive practice must be explicitly documented in a formal Behaviour Support Plan, properly authorized, and strictly reported to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
