What is NDIS funding?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a whole-of-life approach, providing a major reform of the disability services offered to the citizens of Australia. It provides financial support based on individuals’ needs and goals. It is a new way of providing support for people living with a disability.
It provides person-centred, whole-of-life support to assist people at home, in the community, in education, with specialist and allied health, supported and independent living, a transition to work and supporting people to find the job that’s right for them.
